The SkyPark was officially opened yesterday and because the crowds kept streaming in, the management of Marina Bay Sands (MBS ) put another 1,000 tickets on sale. Before this, 500 tickets had been snapped up, with another 500 sold in advance online.

Overall, visitors were pleased with their $20 experience although some areas like the 150-metre infinity pool, the world’s largest outdoor pool at 200 metres high, were not open. According to MBS , the pool will be open to hotel guests only.

The Public Observation Deck is open daily from 10am to 10pm. A maximum capacity of 600 visitors will be allowed at any time.
